Large caps take a breather following pump

The cryptocurrency market cap saw net outflows of $0.7 billion over the last 24 hours and currently stands at $852.11 billion — down 0.08% from $852.81 billion.

Bitcoin’s market cap decreased 0.7% to $332.23 billion from $332.25 billion, while Ethereum’s market cap grew 0.6% to $162.6 billion from $161.43 billion over the reporting period.

In the last 24 hours, the top 10 cryptocurrencies all posted minor losses except for Ethereum, which bucked the wider large-cap trend to post 0.6% gains. Of the top 10, Solana experienced the biggest losses, down 2.7%.

Since the last report, the market cap of BinanceUSD (BUSD) saw a slight increase to $16.35 billion. While Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) both saw minor decreases to $66.27 billion and $43.89 billion, respectively.

Bitcoin

Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin fell 0.07% to trade at $17,258 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance stayed flat at 39%.

BTC topped out at $17,396 on Monday lunch time (ET), leading into a drop that bottomed at $17,129.

Ethereum

Ethereum grew 0.6% over the last 24 hours to trade at $1,330 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance grew slightly to 19.1% from 19%.

Price action for ETH mirrored BTC, peaking at $1,345 on Monday lunchtime to bottom at $1,315 by the evening.
